You probably hate the cheesy-looking stock photos of picture-perfect people? We do too at JumpStory. That’s why we’ve created an authentic alternative with millions of images of real people and real emotions.
JumpStory is a startup, so we’re not perfect. Our product is constantly improved, and we’re working extremely hard to keep improving it based on the great feedback from our awesome users in +100 countries.
Despite this we’ve probably never be 100% perfect, but that’s part of the point. Neither are the people on our images. They’re REAL.
And REAL works! When we get customer feedback, they tell us that JumpStory-images perform so much better than the stock-photo ones from Shutterstock, Getty Images, Unsplash etc. or even worse the AI-generated fake ones.
Users tell us about results improving by 80% or more. How about that for images with impact?
Sometimes we feel like JumpStory is not just a startup, but a sort of tribe or even a movement. Users write us how much they love that they’re not only getting great results, but also actively contributing to a more authentic future by using JumpStory photos and videos instead of the fake looking ones.
We realize that fake has become big business some places on the web. Instagram have made billions sharing manipulated and fake-looking photos and reels. They’ve ‘taught’ young people that they’re not good enough, if they don’t use a lot of filters. To be honest we hate that trend!
That’s why JumpStory doesn’t believe in Instagram-reels, but in REALS. That’s our word for describing authentic images of real people and real emotions. No fakes. No filters.
Does this make us old-school? Perhaps in the discussion of real vs. fake, but we remain a tech-startup, so we DO use AI. However, we refuse using it to create fake content. Instead, we use artificial intelligence to look for supermodels or hyper-stages images and remove them from our library. We’ve named this approach authentic intelligence.
To quote the founders of JumpStory, Anders Thiim and Jonathan Low, this is our very clear position on AI and generative AI … and the importance of keeping it real:
“Generative AI is simply ‘fake on steroids’. Instead of feeling we have to adopt it everywhere, we should take a deep breath; return to the value-gym and have a long session, where we reconsider what kind of a world, we want to build?
– Anders Thiim, CEO at JumpStory
“In the era of generative AI people will look at your content and brand and focus on one thing: Can they trust you or not? Should they trust your stories; your images; your people; your product?
The future billionaires will not be the creators of algorithms, but the creators of trust.”
– Jonathan Low, CMO at JumpStory of Quality at JumpStory.
